ICS OF NJ
In the early days, the visionary late Mr. J.P. Patel conceived the idea of establishing an organization called the Indian Cultural Society of NJ. In 1986, this idea took shape as a formally registered nonprofit organization, forming the initial Executive Committee to provide support and engage in volunteer work for the benefit of local growing community. The primary mission of ICS of NJ is to promote Indian culture within the state of New Jersey.
Embracing diversity and fostering an inclusive environment that welcomes individuals from all backgrounds and encourages cultural exchange.
A commitment to preserving and promoting the cultural heritage, traditions, and values of a particular community or group.
Actively engaging with the local community through events, festivals, outreach programs, & collaborative partnerships to enhance cultural awareness and appreciation.

ICS Navratri Festival 2024
On behalf of ICS of NJ, we wanted to take a moment to express our heartfelt appreciation for the incredible team efforts by all trustees, ICS-team & sponsors to put into organizing and executing such a vibrant and successful Navratri event. It was truly a wonderful celebration that brought our community together in joy and spirit.
A special thank you to Emeritus Chair Piyushbhai Patel, our dynamic Chairman Atul Shah, and Vice Chairman Dr. Suresh Patel for their active participation at the venue and their generous support throughout the event.
From the beautifully decorated venue to the energetic Garba performances by Khelaiya GRP-Mumbai and Foram Shah, the seamless Venue and Elizabethe BOE coordination by President Pandu Shere, effortless sponsor’s & Trustee mgmt. by M. Director Rajesh Patel, Lovely and most likeable Mataji’s Temple at venue & managed by Anil Patel and as always well performing the great ICS Team throughout the event was simply outstanding.
ICS is thankful to our Treasurer Hitesh Patel and his team for their incredible finance management for the event. We are also thankful to Shreejay Purohit for their extra ordinary marketing including website mgmt., online booking, email marketing, social plus digital media mgmt. and event coordination efforts to make this event more successful.
From last 2 months, Team ICS’s hard work, dedication, and passion were evident in every aspect of the event, and it made the festivities memorable for everyone who attended.
